Idou in Flash Lite 2.x By Photographer

Dear users,

After a short break I decided to finish my Idou project wink.gif . This Flash Lite 2.x wallpaper is based on the UI of Sony Ericsson’s new smartphone, codenamed Idou. I do not own the idea of this wallpaper, though I re-made every icon and bar from scratch so they would be transparent and added some features like dynamic background and text wink.gif .

This wallpaper is compatible with the following phones:
Sony Ericsson:
C510, C702, C902, C905, G502, G705, K630, K660, K850, T700, V640, W595, W705, W760, W890, W902, W910, W980, Z750, Z770, Z780

Text labels
The “Menu”, “Media” and “Contacts” labels have been removed with a modified *.LNG file. Get the LNG file for your phone and firmware (they’re in an extracted FS), open it with SvanSvan’s LNG editor, search for all occurancies of Menu, Media and Contacts (CaSe SeNsiTive!) and mod them to be empty (by replacing the text with a space). Save and upload the new LNG TOGETHER WITH the customize_upgrade.xml included in the attachments smile.gif

Modified W910 R1FA035 lng files in the attachments:
English (EN2.rar)
Dutch (nl.rar)

Path to upload LNG files:
tpa/preset/system/language

Patch to upload the customize_upgrade.xml:
tpa/preset/custom

There’s an other way to remove the text labels, this involves softkey hook files, but I never got them to work on my phone.

The preview above is an actual screenshot of my W910i. Here is a preview of the statusbar, the icons look weird in explorer because they’re mostly white and grey.

The swf file has to be uploaded in the pictures folder on either your phones memory or memorystick. In the pictures folder you have to create a folder called “sidebar”, without “”, this is case sensitive!!! In the sidebar folder all files to be loaded will be stored, read on for instructions.

Features:
LOW HEAP usage, phone will not slow down.

TrackID
TrackID with smooth appear and disappear tween.

Wallpaper
Wallpaper will be loaded from a folder in the same path as the swf. If the
root for the swf is pictures/sidebar.swf then the patch for the wallpaper is
pictures/sidebar/wallpaper.png
The wallpaper MUST be named wallpaper and MUST be saved in png format else it
won’t load.

Analog clock
There is an analog clock installed on the top of the sidebar.

Photoframe
The image will be loaded the same way as the wallpaper, the root will be
pictures/sidebar/slide.png
Again this HAS to be a png file named this way else it won’t work!

Notepad
The text on the notepad will be loaded from a txt file in the sidebar folder,
just as the photoframe and wallpaper. The text files root will be
pictures/sidebar/note.txt.
The note.txt HAS to start with “text=” without quotes. After the = mark you
can type your own text, about 35 characters will fit in the box.

Two layouts included, layout 1 will fot best for this theme as it has no signal icon being drawn over the “Start” image on the theme.
